A leaflet entitled “Yarnscombe – Parish Paths and Circular Rides – Walking Routes” is available at the Village Hall or from the Footpaths Warden. In addition to a 30 minutes’ stroll around the village, it describes three walks of 1½ hours (Cleave Farm, Rooks Cross, Glasswater Bridge, Delley, and Ward Lane), 2 hours (Three Gates Cross, Easton Moor Cross, Delworthy, Glasswater Bridge, Rooks Cross and Portford Cross) and 3 hours (Three Gates Cross, Sherwood Green, Lee Cross, Langridgeford and Court Barton).
Maps of all the public rights of way, showing where you can walk, ride or cycle in Devon, are made available by Devon County Council.
