The predessor to the current Yarnscombe parish website, Yarnscombe Online began life during the school summer half term in May 2003 by Niall, Claire, George and Amber, as a website made about our life in the village as youngsters. Soon after, CJ, Elliott, Tash, Myka, Hannah and Nicola also joined.
During July of that year we took part in the annual church fete, running a human fruit machine, then in July organised a coffee morning making over £140, which was donated to the church. (See below.)
Over three years on and Yarnscombe Online is still here, but in a different guise, even if some of the original team are not. As we are all now older, Yarnscombe Online is changing, to become part of the larger website about life in the village of Yarnscombe for all ages. The major update is in process so please bear with us.

As mentioned above, we are going through a major update, some areas will be completed in the near future. We have a number of exciting projects coming up, such as:
A photo diary/record of community events/fundraisers/parties etc. that happened in the village. This will be separate from the historical Photo Gallery.
The new Yarnscombe Youngsters satellite site to take over the original role of Yarnscombe Online as a site being run and maintained by the youngsters about their life in the village.
